Eligibility Criteria
Age Requirements
- General Soldiers: 17.5 to 23 years (as of March 2025)
- Clerks & Cooks: 17.5 to 23 years
- Military Police: 17.5 to 23 years
Note: Candidates with higher qualifications or previous army experience may get an age relaxation.
Educational Requirements
- Soldier (Sipahi): Minimum Matric Pass

- Military Police: Matric Pass (Preference for taller candidates)
Physical Standards
- General Soldiers: Minimum height - 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm)
- Military Police: Minimum height - 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm)
- Clerk & Cook: Minimum height - 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm)
Candidates must be physically fit and capable of passing endurance tests like running, push-ups, and sit-ups.
Required Documents
- Original and attested copies of CNIC or B-Form
- Four recent passport-size photographs
- Educational certificates (Matric, Inter, etc.)
- Domicile certificate
- Father's CNIC copy
Selection Process
- Online Registration: Candidates must register at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk
- Physical Test: Running, push-ups, sit-ups, and other endurance tests
- Medical Examination: Conducted at Army Selection & Recruitment Centers (AS&RC)
- Written Test: Basic knowledge and IQ assessment for clerks
- Final Interview: Conducted by selection officers
- Merit List Announcement: Selected candidates will receive their joining instructions
